Our Mission
Cornerstone was founded in order to provide high quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals and families in the Florida Panhandle. While we know that ABA is the only scientifically and empirically based treatment for Autism, we also want to provide services to individuals with other diagnoses as well as families who may be struggling with the behavior of their typically developing child.

Why Cornerstone?
The name Cornerstone has a special meaning to us. We chose it to express how important we believe ABA therapy is. If you look up the definition you will find that a cornerstone is, literally speaking, a stone that forms the base of a corner of a building that joins two walls. It is also the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation that becomes the reference point for all the other stones laid. In a more literary sense a cornerstone is the quality or feature that something is based or depends on. The science of behavior is the cornerstone of what we do. It is what we use as our reference point for improving the lives of individuals and their families, and it is what we depend on.
