Does my child need a diagnosis or referal to receive ABA therapy?

No diagnosis is needed to receive ABA therapy or consultation services from Cornerstone Behavioral Consulting, however a diagnosis of ASD is required for ABA therapy to be covered by insurance.

Do you accept insurance?

We are in network for Cigna and Aetna, and are currently working on adding Florida Blue, Tricare, and Medicaid.

What is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)?

A BCBA is someone who has a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services. They have passed the BCBA Exam and adhere to the field's rigorous ethical code. They maintain their certification by meeting continuing education requirements so that they stay up to date on the best practices of the field.

Where do therapy and consultation services take place ?

We currently offer home, community, school, and telehealth options.  Your Behavior Analyst will help determine the best environment for services to take place.

Is ABA therapy just for Autism?

ABA therapy is an effective therapy option for a variety of people including those with ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, Fragile X, and other developmental disabilities, however insurance will only cover the cost of ABA services if the client has an ASD diagnosis.

Will insurance cover all of your services?

Unfortunately, no.  Insurance only covers ABA therapy with a diagnosis of Autism.  Our other services are private pay options.
